We all know that Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for our health, especially our digestive system, because they help keep the level of “good bacteria” high and thus our gut healthy. Kimchi is a traditional Korean fermented vegetable that is chock a block full of good bacteria  shown in research to be helpful in the treatment of: 
• Irritable bowel syndrome
• Leaky gut syndrome
• Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
• Infectious diarrhea (caused by viruses, bacteria, or parasites)
• Antibiotic-related diarrhea

This version of kimchi (in fond memory of Harry Kim from my all-time favourite show “Star Trek-Voyager”), follows an Ayurvedic approach to diet and leaves out the garlic and onions. The result is a fiery, sassy compliment to any dish. Be aware this product is NOT for wimps! It is cold processed to preserve the health benefits so please refrigerate after opening. 

Ingredients: Organic napa cabbage, organic daikon radish, ginger, apple, kosher salt, sticky rice, chili powder, shitake mushroom, kombu seaweed, sunflower oil, asophetida.
